A third party could be seeking to bring Turkey and Iraq into conflict: Iraqi Expert

An Iraqi military expert has said that if a third party has carried out the Duhok attack, its aim is to create sedition and conflict between Iraq and Turkey.
The Iraqi government has officially announced that the Duhok province attack has been carried out by Turkey but Ankara didn’t claim responsibility for the attack and has denied any involvement, Safa Alasam said in an exclusive interview with ILNA.
It should be investigated carefully because this issue can bring Iraq into a big vortex, he added.
He emphasized that if a third party has carried out this attack, its aim is to create sedition and conflict between Iraq and Turkey.
The Turkish Foreign Minister has denied reports that Turkey carried out attacks targeting civilians in Iraq’s Duhok province, where a strike killed eight and wounded 23 on Wednesday.
