Syria says it does not want fighting between Syrian and Turkish militaries

Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem said on Tuesday that he does not want to see fighting between the Syrian and Turkish militaries.
Moualem made the comment in China during a joint briefing with the Chinese government’s top diplomat State Councillor Wang Yi.
Turkish troops are conducting patrols and fortifying observation points in the Syrian province of Idlib after Syrian regime forces bombarded the province with Russian support, London-based pan-Arab news outlet Asharq al-Awsat reported on Thursday.
Turkey and Russia signed a deal last September to prevent a regime onslaught against the rebel forces in Idlib, which is the last opposition-controlled province in the country.
