Yemeni, Palestinian factions condemn terrorist attack in Iran
The Supreme Political Council in Yemen, the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, and the Palestinian Mujahideen movement have censured a terrorist attack on Iranian civilians in Shiraz, Fars province.
Head of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen Mahdi al-Mashat conveyed a message to Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, expressing condolences to the Iranian government and people, and slamming the cowardly terrorist act categorically.
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine issued a statement early on Friday, noting that targeting women, old people, and innocent children are a heinous act, which is contrary to Islamic teachings.
The Palestinian Mujahideen movement warned that such a terrorist operation has been committed in order to deviate the Islamic nations from the true path of Islam, expressing condolences to Iran’s Supreme Leader as well as the families of the victims of the terrorist attack.
On Wednesday (October 26) a terrorist armed with a machinegun opened fire on the pilgrims and evening prayer worshippers at the Shah Cheraq holy shrine in Shiraz, martyred 15 innocent people, including some women, children, and elderly folks, and seriously wounding tens of others.
The Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the heinous act.
