Arming Zionist settlers a cleansing against Palestinian: Expert
The arming of the Zionist settlers and their harsh confrontation with the Palestinians can create problems for Tel Aviv's internal security, an expert on the region has said.
Recently, a plan has been devised by the Ministry of War of the Zionist regime, whose goal is to form armed groups from the settlers to deal hard with the Palestinians living in the occupied Jerusalem neighborhoods, Ali Asghar Zargar said in remarks to ILNA.
He said that “I believe that the arming of the Zionist settlers should be considered a constant threat against the Palestinians.”
This action is without a doubt a kind of double pressure and violence against a minority that can now lead to a new crisis, he noted.
I believe that this action should be considered a type of "cleansing" against the Palestinians, he said, adding that “if the plan to arm the Zionist settlers, as discussed in the Hebrew and Arabic media, becomes operational, there will undoubtedly be a permanent threat, the fire of which can cause Israel to face many problems.”
