U.S. considering China a strategic target and open threat: Expert

From Washington’s point of view, China is a strategic target and an open threat, an expert on the U.S. has said.
Commenting on the new round of conflicts and verbal arguments between China and the U.S, Mehdi Motaharnia said in remarks to ILNA that the China issue is very important for the U.S. and it has been considered a strategic case.
The U.S. is loudly highlighting China’s threat, he said, adding that based on existing risks, New York as the pole of capitalism has a willingness to contain China.
In return, China is also trying to bring the U.S. into its special challenges, he added.
He said that the U.S. is trying to portray China as a practical threat to the world with excessive magnification.
