Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Movement in an address considered Israel’s sending of a gas extracting vessel to Lebanon’s Karish Gas Field as obvious breaching of Lebanon’s national sovereignty.

Lebanon’s Al Mayadin TV broadcasted live Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as saying that his address on Thursday night merely focused on the oil and gas resorts of Lebanon, and the recent developments in that countr's energy fields.

He added that the ongoing developments in Karish Gas Field is tantamount to intriguing Lebanon and making that country face a very difficult situation.

Nasrallah said that the Greek ship that has arrived in Lebanese waters is not commissioned to extract gas, but to discover and drill, so that the gas extraction will be made in later phases.

The secretary general of Hezbollah said that the ship is located at 29-degrees longitude near the Karish Gas Field, which is according to the official authorities, a disputed region between Lebanon and the usurper Zionist regime.

Nasrallah said that the United States and Israel under the pretext of drawing the border lines are detaching a large area of Lebanon’s territorial areas, aimed at banning discovery and drilling operations for Lebanon, and looting that gas field to the last cubic meter of gas, which is why the time factor is very important now.

He warned against the further aggravation and complication of the Issues after the beginning of gas extraction by the Greek ship that is hired by Israel, arguing: "We are now faced with a new phase of Israeli expansionist policies."
