Putin faces fate of Nikita Khrushchev if fails in Ukraine: Expert
An expert on the U.S. has said that Russia doesn’t leave Ukraine easily unless it can occupy Lahaska and Donetsk regions completely.
Ali Bigdeli told ILNA that “In the current conditions and especially after it failed in capturing the capital of Ukraine militarily, Moscow is now seeking to declare a victory.”
He said that Russians won't leave Ukraine easily unless they can occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions completely.
The university professor added that after the conquest of the port of Mariupol, Russia will connect the entire region to the strategic Crimean Peninsula.
“Finally, Russia will announce to the Ukraine government that it is ready to accept the ceasefire or sign a bilateral agreement,” he said.
He said that “I believe that if Putin leaves Ukraine without a victory, he will undoubtedly face the fate of Nikita Khrushchev.”
