Education Ministry official calls for reduction of retirees and employees income gap
Education Ministry top official called for addressing the organization's retirees appeal.
"Ahmad Saafi", Education Ministry advisor and head of the Ministry’s retiree’s board in an interview with ILNA, criticizing approaches toward educational retirees, told that they are concerned about growing discrimination between themselves and educational personnel and employees and called for equalizing measures to be taken.
Pointing to the retirees’ appeals in receiving pension premiums on time, the top Education Ministry official told that organizing the insurance situation and predicting budget for helping physical and mind health in retiring age and senility is among other significant demands of this community.
According to Saafi, the Sixth developmental plan has taken steps in further cutting the gap between retirees and employees’ income.
"The pension funds have prepared predicting tables to boost the income by 10 percents in this year which is going to be enacted stage by stage" he emphasized.
Top retiree official also added that one of the educational personnels’ appeal was prioritizing their child employment and they have always sought serious attention to their demands from parliament and government.
