1100 drug users are moved from around Tehran; Head of Iran's Welfare Organization
Head of Iran's welfare organization reports collecting 1100 drug users from around the city.
"Anoushiravan Mohseni Bandpai", Head of Iran's Welfare Organization reported that about a 1100 drug users have been collected and shifted from around the city. The measures have been taken through the campaign that has been launched during the last 8 days.
"The campaign has been kicked off from 9th of Esfand and 4 aid teams have been deployed to attend their situation and the drug addicts have been moved to designated centers for further treatment and training" he stressed.
Adding that all of the collected drug users have been male, Welfare Organization official described the team as including doctors, psychologists and aid workers.
