Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Shahrouz Barzegar said "The presence of the Iranian president in America may convey the message that we have come to America but we are not willing to negotiate with U.S.

He said to ILNA news agency in an exclusive interview that United Nations is the most appropriate place to convey the word of the Iranian people to the world by Iran President.

"The United States has launched an Iran-phobia in the region," he said, referring to US actions in the Middle East and added that but Iran's neighbors in the region must to know that the country that is causing the terror in the region is the United States not Iran.

Iranian Member of Parliament said "The United States can negotiate with Iran when it returns to Iran nuclear deal."

"European countries must stand against U.S monopoly," he added.

Iran’s president, Hassan Rouhani, has said he will present a plan for Persian Gulf security at this week’s UN general assembly, as Washington and Tehran fight for diplomatic advantage in the wake of the devastating attack on the Saudi oil industry.

Iran’s foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, later said that opposition to foreign forces in the Gulf was not a precondition for joining the coalition, and that all the permanent members of the UN Security Council were welcome to take part.

Asked about Rouhani’s plan on Sunday, Trump said he was open to hearing it. “I’m always open,” he said. “We’re doing our own thing with Iran,” the president added, and claimed “tremendous progress” has been made.
