Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani is to submit the budget bill of the next Iranian calendar year of 1398 (beginning on March 21, 2019) to Majlis (Iran’s Parliament) on Tuesday.

Rouhani entered Majlis this morning and will deliver a speech about the details and main approaches employed to prepare the budget bill and then submit it to Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani.

He in a nationally-televised speech to the Iranian parliament (Majlis) on Tuesday, emphasised that United States is the most isolated country in the world , with hardly any country supporting America's unfair and illegal sanctions regime.

Rouhani made the remarks in the Majlis (parliament)  to a packed hall of parliamentarians, emphasising the fact that America's usual allies - major European countries for example - have all turned their back on Donald Trump's administration.

President Rouhani also discussed at great length next year's budget, and made the case for more transparency within the government.

He also said the public should be fully informed about government activities and performance, arguing that 'more transparency means less corruption'.

Majlis’ specialized commissions will review the bill and submit their reports to Majlis for final decisions.

Next year’s budget bill is prepared according to the current economic situation of the country, especially the recent fluctuations in foreign currency market.
