KRG Prime Minister to visit Iran

The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Nechirvan Barzani will travel to Tehran on Sunday.
Nechirvan Barzani and his deputy Qubad Talabani are set to pay a visit on Saturday (January 20) to Tehran where they will meet with senior Iranian officials.
During the visit, they will discuss cultural, security, economic and political issues such as latest political developments in the region and Iraq as well as Baghdad-Erbil relations.
According to the regional experts, the visit, which is the first trip after the referendum, is a positive event.
