Spokesman condemns anti-Iran claims by US president top advisor
Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Monday condemned the recent unfounded allegations made by President Trump's special Middle East advisor Jared Kushner against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Such baseless allegations have roots in disappointment of thw US officials, he said.
In the absence of Iran's efforts and devotion in fight against terrorists and extremists in the region mainly in Iraq and Syria, the US streets should be scene of terrors and violence by extremist groups and to the same reason the international community should be thankful to Iran's sacrifices and its principled and rational policies in dealing with extremist groups and terrorists, Qasemi said.
Attributing Iran to aggression and extremism by the US president top advisor in fact indicates the disappointment of US officials with Iran's principled policies in fight against terrorism under baseless pretexts as they seek their existence in creating tension against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region, Qasemi said.
These baseless accusations are leveled against Iran whilst the country enjoys the best relations with its neighbors, he said.
