We reclaim Labor Act reform bill; Rouhani
Iranian president announced that the government is going to reclaim the Labor Act Reform Bill.
Iranian President, "Hassan Rouhani", in a ceremony commemorating world May Day in the shrine of Ayatollah Khomeini, founder of Islamic Republic of Iran, addressing the gathering told: "Today is the day that we show our commitment to pave the way he opened in front of us."
He mentioned: "We should consider realities in the issues of work, employment and life of workers. If anyone is claiming today that workers are free of problems and challenges, he or she does not know the realities of workers life. It has been years that adequate steps haven't been taken for improving our beloved workers’ life."
"When we see that thousands of production factories are closed, we can understand what kind of problems our workers face. We have two ways in front of us: One is to cry empty promises and slogans. Another is to see the realities and plan for our path of progress and improving peoples life, specifically life of workers" he emphasized.
The president further noted: "The first thing that we have to do in this country is to boost workspace, and ask to have more workers at work. The day that a woker doesn't have a job, he is forced to accept difficult work and low salaries. The freedom that we consider, is a freedom in choosing proportionate jobs with fair wages."
