Conservative candidates not fit for president; Tajernia tells ILNA

"Ali Tajernia", Reformist political activist, in his interview with ILNA, referring to "Seyed Ebrahim Raeissi", presidential candidate's campaign remarks, told: "Conservatives’s strategy is aimed at provoking and instigating religious groups and the society’s poor and impoverished."

According to Tajernia, two conservative candidates’s speech were deceiving public opinion and were instances of black washing the reality. 

"People want someone who can be in control of the country’s ongoing activities and can provide good governance. Raeissi’s statements showed that he lacked these criteria and is not going to be a good choice for the nation’s president" he underlined. 

Referring to "Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf", presidential candidate’s campaign statements and speeches, he said: "His report card in Tehran Municipality should be further investigated and his measures in pre-selling the organization’s sustainable sources and running it with high costs should be inspected. These kind of approaches are harmful in presidential scale." 

Tajernia also added that the level of president "Hassan Rouhani"’s competitors are so low and emphasized that it is likely that some candidates stay in the race until the election day but "Eshagh Jahangiri", reformist presidential candidate would leave the race in favor of Rouhani.
