Iranian, Kyrgyz officials discuss facilitating visa issuance
Kyrgyzstan Parliament speaker Chynybai Tursunbekov said on Tuesday that he has discussed faciliating visa issuance and increasing flights between the two countries during his visit to Iran.
Talking to reporters upon his arrival in Mazandaran on Tuesday, he called on all the Iranian investors and tourists to visit and invest in Kyrgyzstan without any concern.
Establishment of new regular and weekly flights between Tehran, Mashad and Bishkek were among other topics discussed with the Iranian officials, he said.
On his objectives to visit Iran, he said that talking with Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani which took place on Monday and President Hassan Rouhani in the coming days for exchanging views were major goals of his ongoing visit.
Kyrgyz government and parliament welcome strengthening cooperation with Iran in all political, economic and other domains, said Tursunbelkov.
Touching on his visit to Mazandaran, he said, “The province houses notable companies that we are keen on forging further cooperation with, given thir diverse products.”
Tursunbekov arrived in Tehran on Sunday at the head of a 20-member parliamentary and economic delegation at the invitation of Majlis speaker Larijani.
