Baghaei unlikely to reach end of the race; Pezeshkian tells ILNA
Iran's Parliament Deputy Speaker says, according to former president's statements, it is unlikely he can get to the end of political race.
Iranian Parliament's First Deputy Speaker, "Masoud Pezeshkian", referring to "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad", Iranian Former President and "Hamid Baghaei", Presidential candidates campaign activities told: "Based on what they expressed, I’m not sure they can continue to the end of the path."
"At the time, Ahmadinejad claimed that if he gets into the office no one would remain unemployed, will reduce banking loans and unemployment rates to single-digit and raise economic growth and thousands other promises, none of which was achieved" he emphasized.
Regarding some of the campaign promises of the two presidential contenders about subsides and fuel cards, top legislative official said: "If they have plans in this field, the card in itself is not a bad thing. We can supervise the people’s moves and acts through this."
Pezeshkian emphasized that the data and information is necessary for state management and administration and added that the fact is true in the field of fuel, real estate, administrative procedures, economy and import and export.
"If we would have adequate data on land and property, we can prevent property and land embezzlement and theft."
According to him, the first step in administrating the country is data and information and decision making is meaningless without them.
