Direct negotiations with Airbus kicks off; Sattari tells ILNA

"Sorena Sattari" Vice President for Science and Technology Affairs, in his interview with ILNA and pointing to Iran Air’s contracts with plane-makers, Airbus and ATR, on collaborations on aircraft part production told: "Science and Technology Deputy of Presidential Administration started negotiations with Airbus and ATR, for building aircraft parts."

He continued: "We had sessions with these two plane-maker companies and will soon publish the results of our talks."

Telling that the list of parts are not yet finalized, the top cabinet official told that the process of finalization of the deal is underway.

"During these negotiations, the major point of these talks were producing the parts in Iran" he emphasized.

According to Sattari, part production capacities are being evaluated and the administration is finding ways to activate these potentials.
