"Bahram Ghassemi", Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, reacting to the recent ongoing confrontations in Venezuela, emphasized that Iran is supporting the process of talks and negotiations between the government and the Venezuelan opponents for resolving the facing issues.

Regarding the recent unfolding unrests between the government and the opponents, Iranian Spokesman added: "Stability and Security of Latin America and particularly Venezuela is vital and significant for Islamic Republic of Iran. We believe that the continuation of volatility and instability in this country is not going to favor any of the two sides and could lead to further pressure on Venezuelan people."
