Ahmadinejad registers for Iranian presidential race
Iran's former president officially announced his bid for running for the president.
Iran’s Former President, "Mahmoud Ahmadinejad", registered for Presidential election and officially announce his bid for candidacy.
His participation in the race is happening despite "Ayatollah Khamenei", Supreme Leader’s advice on avoiding candidacy for the event.
Addressing a press conference, he said: "Supreme Leader’s advice wasn’t meant to prevent me from entering the race. I’m committed to my ethical promises and I’ve registered for supporting "Hamid Baghaei", the candidate I support."
Ahmadinejad emphasized that Iranians are not in the situation that they deserve and need national resolve, unity and endless efforts for reaching where they are entitled to.
