Iran's Judiciary Chief expressed concern over the extension of UN human rights rapporteur's mission.

Iran’s Judiciary Chief, Ayatollah "Sadeq Amoli Larijani", congratulating the Iranian New Year to the Supreme Leader, the nation and all the Iranian noble judges and the Judiciary staffs, emphasized that the previous year, was a year of numerous achievements and in some cases difficulties and deficiencies, a fact which for a vast judicial system is somehow natural.

Pointing to the Judiciary’s task in bearing heavy responsibilities in reviewing and attending to more than 15 million cases and legal procedures besides affiliated organization’s services, told that many of emerging shortcomings and failures which usually resulted in some dissatisfactions, are originated from issues like human resources or budget shortages, "which we hope, would be able to compensate with more efforts and effective management."

Ayatollah Amoli Larijani, at the end referring to the extension of UN human rights rapporteur mission in Iran told that unfortunately UN human rights organizations have become tools to leveraging independent countries. Such organization under the control of empowered countries, have so far denied and remained silent toward Israel’s criminal actions, or the Saudis’ bloodshed in Yemen.

"Instead of supporting the oppressed, they have chosen to stand by the oppressor" he stressed.

Iran’s Judiciary Chief stated that from the outset, Iran has deemed the appointment of UN human rights rapporteur, against international resolutions and believed that the cooperation between Tehran and human right organizations should  have conducted in an equal and fair situations.
