Labor Ministry should promptly take back its amendments; Parliament Member

Deputy Chairman of Parliament Labor Fraction called for repealing and reclaiming Work Act amendments by Labor Ministry.

Recent Ministry of Cooperation, Labor and Social Welfare's attempt in introducing Labor Act amendments to the parliament has been criticized by many, as “Nader Ghazi Pour”, Deputy Chairman of Parliament's Labor Fraction who has suggested that the ministry should repeal and reclaim the bills, in remaining time.

“We suggest that the Minister, rapidly repeal and reclaim the bills. The bills are obsolete legislatives that have been offered at the time of “Mahmoud Ahmadinejad”, former president, and are running against the interest of worker society” he emphasized.

According to parliament member, the Worker's Fraction has opposed the bill since the legislative piece has shown high level of vulnerability in addressing workers’ concerns and complaints.

“In other words, the worker’s right has been jeopardized and such is a grave concern regarding the bills” he added.

The Worker Fraction top legislative official expressed hope that the Parliament’s Social Commission won’t vote to the generalities of the Work Act amendments and the bills would get revoked to the government.

“I hope they would act promptly in this respect” Ghazipour emphasized.
