Polarization of the election is the most dangerous harm; Political activist tells ILNA
A political activist in an interview with ILNA calls for avoiding polarization of election atmosphere.
Emphasizing the necessity of efforts in maximal participation in upcoming election, “Abolghasem Raoofian”, Iran’s Islamic Party General Secretary called the most pernicious and dangerous harm to the election, polarizing the atmosphere. “Confrontation of the candidates’ fan and supporters and turning the healthy and legal political competition into a ground of clashes and rift are harmful to the elction” he added.
According to Raoofian, the continuation of political life of an establishment depends on the strategies of maximal political participation and such fact is in favor of the rise of Islamic Republic’s position in the region and it’s religious democracy in the eyes of the public.
He called for an avoidance of any acts or speeches that might heighten the tentions in the society and prepare the grounds for confrontation between supporters of each party from any member of political groups.
Refering to diversity in taking part in the political races of election, the political activist told that there’s no way to prevent extremists to enter the competition and everyone has the right to participate in the event but the authorities are responsible not to let such group’s activities transcend the security frames of the country.
