Rouhani appreciates all Iranians' efforts in contributing to the country's development
Iran's President in his New Year address thanks Iranian's contribution to development of the country.
President “Hassan Rouhani”, in a televised massage which broadcasted for Iranians on Monday, congratulated the ancient tradition of Nowrouz to all the nation, those Iranians who are living outside the country and the neighboring nations who celebrate the occasion.
He called this year’s occasion full of blessings because of the birth anniversary of Prophet's daughter and expressed hope that through solidarity, unity and struggle, together we can do our best for dignifying our beloved country.
President Rouhani, noted that the previous year was the year for implementing policies of “Resistance Economy; Action and Implementation” and the Nuclear deal. “Both of which could play important positive role for us” he emphasized.
During his televised address, the president thanked farmers for the efforts in boosting agricultural production and reaching self-sufficiency in wheat production, workers for their contribution for the noticeable growth in industrial production, banks for activating 24 thousands industrial units and engineers and oil industry workers for their efforts in doubling oil and gas production. He also appreciated the doctors, teachers and sportsmen for their achievements.
President, admired last year’s curbing inflation and economic and employment growth which he called distinctive in 25 years.
He noted that for the first time in this cabinet, worker’s income growth has succeeded inflation and this contributes to their better living condition.
At the end he expressed hope that in future our beloved country would feel more delighted and greatness and through more unity and more economic growth would be able to move ahead.
