US wrestling team welcomed in Iran

Members of the US national wrestling team, who arrived in Iran’s city of Kermanshah on Feb. 13 for participation in the Freestyle World Cup competition, welcomed by Iranians.
Earlier, Iran barred the US wrestlers from entering the country for participation in the competition, as a response to America’s ban on visa issuance for the citizens of seven countries, including Iran.
However, later Tehran agreed to issue visa for the team members following the US federal judge’s ruling that suspended President Donald Trump’s travel ban.
The Freestyle World Cup competition was to be held in Kermanshah, Kermanshah province February 16-17.
