Chairman of Iran Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi is in Damascus at the head of a parliamentary delegation to hold talks with Syrian officials.
A number of parliament representatives are accompanying him in the visit, Islamic Consultative Assembly News Agency reported.
The delegation is scheduled to hold meetings with Syrian high-profile officials, namely Syria President Bashar al-Assad, Speaker of the People's Council of Syria Hadiya Khalaf Abbas, Syrian Prime Minister Imad Khamis and the Foreign Minister Walid Muallem.
