Russia's Deputy Minister to visit Tehran
Russia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mikhail Bogdanov plans a Tehran visit that will take place on December 5, the Russian media has announced.
Bogdanov, who is the Russian official responsible for relations with the Middle East and Africa, is to hold talks with the Iranian officials on the issues of mutual interests, regional developments and question of Syria as well as further coordination between the two sides' anti-terrorism stance.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour had already talked of Bogdanov's visit to Tehran.
Bogdanov has stressed that he won't discuss the issue of Russia possible use of the Iranian Hamedan airbase during his upcoming visit to Iran, the Russian news agency 'Sputnik' has quoted him as saying on Thursday.
