Slovenia to reopen embassy in Tehran
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has announced the Slovenia would reopen its embassy in Tehran Wednesday.
In the meeting with Slovenian counterpart, President Rouhani stated that both countries have discussed various issues concerning the Middle East and the world.
He went on to say that both sides shared common interest on different subjects discussed, adding Iran values expanding ties with European states.
President Rouhani stressed eth importance of strengthening ties with European Union, noting the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action has paved the ground for better mutual cooperation with world countries.
Heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, Slovenia's President Borut Pahor arrived in Tehran on Monday and held talks with Iranian senior officials.
Both sides highlighted the significance of mutual cooperation on trade, science, economy, technology, nanotechnology and culture.
Two Memoranda of Understandings were signed on ICT and Nano between the two countries.
