Putin: Baku Summit, new chapter in ties of Tehran, Moscow, Baku

Negotiations between Iranian, Russian and Azeri presidents in Baku are a beginning for unity and a new chapter in relations between the three captials, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
Speaking in a trilateral summit with his Iranian and Azeri counterparts Hassan Rouhani and Ilham Aliyev on Monday evening, he called for negotiations between Tehran, Moscow and Baku for joint use of a pipeline for transfer of the Caspian Sea energy resources.
Russian president called the Baku Summit a new chapter in trilateral ties between the three neighbors, adding that global economic crisis is a common challenge that threatens development of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan Republic economic, trade and scientific relations.
Tehran and Baku are Moscow's important partners, Putin said.
