Putin, Rouhani to discuss military-technical cooperation in Baku
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will discuss military-technical cooperation in Baku, Russian president’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told " "Izvestiya" newspaper.
According to him, the Iranian side is interested in modern Russian military equipment.
A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will be held in Baku on August 8.
The presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Iran - Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliev and Hassan Rouhani - will meet in Baku on August 8 to discuss the North-South transportation corridor, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mamedyarov and Mahmoud Vaezi, Iran’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, said at a meeting on Tuesday.
"The ministers noted that the North-South transportation corridor will become one of the main topics at the trilateral meeting of the heads of state and expressed confidence that the project would be a great contribution to developing inter-regional cooperation," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry’s press service said.
