Iran blasts terrorist attack in Germany
Iran categorically slammed the terrorist attack in Munich, Germany, extending condolences with German nation and government.
“Today, fight against terrorism in any form and anywhere should be regarded as a serious and prompt demand of the international community and human conscience and should be a pattern for all countries,” said Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi.
He said that killing innocent and defenseless people has turned out to be a shame in human being history which can be uprooted only through all-out and comprehensive fight and avoiding double standards.
An 18-year man opened fire in a crowded Munich shopping mall and a nearby McDonald's killing nine people and wounding 16 others before killing himself, the chief of police in the Bavarian capital said on Saturday.
