President condole martyrdom of Iranian brigadier general Hossein Hamedani

In a separate message he condoled and congratulated his martyrdom to the Hidden Imam (The Twelfth Imam, Muhammad ibn al-Hasan (Al-Mahdi-Sahibuz Zaman) who is expected to return), The supreme leader, all armed forces esp. the Islamic Republic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the nation, and asked all-Mighty Allah patience and prosperity for the soul of that great combatant and his fellow-fighters in all fronts, and patience and mercy for the survivors and his family.

The message reads:

In the Name of Allah, the Creator-Nurture of Martyrs and the Righteous

Martyrdom of the great commander, Brigadier General Hossein Hamedani who went to glory while safeguarding the realm of the family members of the Prophet (PBU them) in a mission as a military consultant for fighting against the terrorist group of so-called Islamic State (IS) in the vicinity of Syrian city of Aleppo on Thursday evening, is a great loss and a deep sorrow.

The martyr's eminent services and endeavors during the struggles before and after the Islamic Revolution of Iran to topple ex-tyrant regime of Shah and fighting against Saddam's regime and the hypocrites in the west of Iran and all in all efforts which led to his martyrdom is an instance of the Qurnic Verse: "And those who are4 martyred in Allah's path. He will not let their deeds without reward. He will guide them, to their blessed places and will provide for them a good condition. And will admit them to the garden which he has already introduces to them and has caused them to know it (47: 5 -6).
