Ex-ambassador criticizes European harsh stances toward Iran
Iran’s former ambassador to Britain has said that the failure of the Europeans to realize their goals towards Tehran has led to the conclusion that Iran is fully standing against them so their voice became harsh toward Iran.
The expert on international issues has criticized European countries' stances adopted toward Iran.
Jalal Sadatian referred to the European countries' mediations in the relations between Iran and the U.S., saying that they thought that they can ensure their special benefits in line with reviving the JCPOA.
Now they are facing a situation where they not only didn’t reach this goal but also Iran's breakout time has reached its lowest level due to the suspension of nuclear talks, he said.
They also failed to keep Iran far from Russia, he added.
He said that finally, the European countries concluded that Iran is completely standing against them so their voice became harsh.
If this issue can’t be settled down, it is likely that Europe in company with the U.S. will not resume the nuclear talks, he noted.
