Iran ready to share experiences in defense industry with Iraq: Cmdr
Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri said on Monday that Iran's Armed Forces have a lot of capacity and capabilities in various areas, including counterterrorism and defense industry, which can share this experience and knowledge with the Iraqi side.
Major General Bagheri held a telephone conversation with Iraq’s new defense minister Thabet Muhammad Al-Abasi and discussed defense cooperation and counterterrorism on Monday.
Referring to the Iranian Armed Forces' high capacity and capabilities in various fields, including counterterrorism and the defense industry, Major General Bagheri highlighted that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are ready to share this experience and knowledge with the Iraqi side.
Thabet Muhammad Al-Abasi, for his part, noted that the Iraqi government and people will never forget the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in fighting terrorism and destroying Daesh, and they are always grateful to the people and armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He reiterated that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Iraq are ready for any military cooperation with the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
