Regional relations should develop and reconstruct: Expert
The former representative of Iran to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation has pointed out that despite pressures and conflicts, Tehran is always steadfast in its path and all it wants for the region is good.
Commenting on the process of improving relations between Iran and members of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Sabah Zangeneh said in remarks to ILNA that the situation that predominates the region and the world today requires the development and reconstruction of relations between the region's countries, especially neighboring countries.
Developments in Ukraine and their consequences and Biden’s trip to the region have shown that events are going on, he highlighted.
He noted that in this situation, the countries of the region need to strengthen their relations and avoid tension.
“Our neighbors know that despite pressures and conflicts, Tehran is always steadfast in its path and doesn’t want anything except for the region to benefit,” he underscored.
