A former diplomat has said that Iran and the U.S. should resume the nuclear talks in Qatar before Biden visits the region.
Commenting on the latest round of the U.S.-Iran talks in Qatar, Abdolreza Faraji Rad said in remarks to ILNA that “In order to overcome the current situation, the date of the future negotiations in Doha should be set in the coming 2-3 days.”
Iran and the U.S. should show flexibility so that a deal can be reached, he said, adding that it is better for Iran and the U.S. to resume the talks before Biden’s trip to the region.
