The head of the Middle East program at “Jarian” think tank has said that Kadhimi wants Iran to accept that Tehran’s national interests are that Iraq doesn’t be part of the Axis resistance.

From Iran’s point of view the advantage of Kadhimi is that he was successful in turning Iraq into a mediator in the relations between Iran and the Arab world, Alireza Majidi said in an exclusive interview with ILNA.

The expert noted that by following the mediation scenario between Iran and the Arab world, Kadhimi wants to improve his situation in Tehran so that he will be able to pursue a scenario where Iraqi groups pursue the second solution which is dissolution of the parliament and holding elections.

He said that Kadhimi wants Iran to accept that Tehran’s national interests are that Iraq doesn’t be part of the axis resistance.

He called it a key issue and explained that the Iraqi prime minister tries to introduce his country as a mediator between Iran and the Arabic countries.
