Bin Salman and Erdoğan are Israel’s leverages against Iran: Expert
An expert on Turkey has said that Israel has started projects against Iran and bin Salman and Erdoğan are also one of these projects' leverages in the region.
Commenting on the aims of bin Salman’s upcoming visit to Turkey and the moves to reduce tensions between Saudi Arabia and Turkey, Rasol Alipor told ILNA that changes in Turkey's position are rooted in its bad situation and a big war had been waged against Turkey’s goods by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
He noted that the economic problems are Erdoğan's Achilles' heel in the future elections. He said that "now, Ankara has come to the conclusion that it must put aside its disagreements with other countries."
Underlining that Saudi Arabia has its eyes on Israel's support to preserve the throne, he said, “Today, in the issue of confronting Iran, Turkey isn’t in a situation that can follow Saudi Arabia unconditionally.”
Israel has started projects against Iran and bin Salman and Erdoğan are also one of these projects' leverages in the region, he said, adding, “Given the internal and regional problems they aren’t powerful leverages.”
