An expert on international relations has said that if Iran wants to get concessions from the West it should enter direct talks on reviving the JCPOA with the U.S.

In the current situation, if Tehran seriously wants a deal on reviving the JCPOA, it should enter direct negotiations with the U.S., Morteza Maki told ILNA.

Europe, Russia, and China are no longer reliable mediators, he said, adding that It seems that is an easy way that if we want to get concession, it will be granted to Iran through direct talks with the U.S.

Underlining that European governments' approaches to the JCPOA revival talks are regulated based on the U.S. and the Iranian governments’ behavior, he said that Iran has exported its oil easily, especially to China by Washington's green light.

He said that due to the prolongation of the JCPOA revival talks, the White House has changed its stance regarding this issue to show that if the negotiations don’t yield any result, closing eyes on bypassing the sanctions no longer will happen.
