Today, Islamic Iran is more powerful than ever: President Raisi
The President described economic reforms as a necessity of the country today and stressed that this should have been done before, adding, "The government strongly pursues economic reforms and the need to cut off the hands of rent-seekers and pave the way for the presence of young people in the field of work”.
On Thursday evening during his one-day trip to Isfahan province, Ayatollah Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi met with different groups of the people in the Naghsh-e Jahan sports complex in Isfahan, and said, "Isfahan is the cradle of warriors who are a source of pride not only for Iran but also for the Islamic world”.
The President emphasised, "The pure blood of the martyrs has become the source of awakening of the Islamic community and eliminating ignorance from human history and society”.
Raisi continued, "The awakening of the nations in the region is one of the effects of the pure blood of the martyrs, and today, despite the will of the enemy and despite all the threats, we are stronger than ever, thanks to God”.
The President said, "Islamic Iran today, thanks to the blood of the martyrs and the efforts of religious people, has the upper hand more than ever, and our enemies are weaker despite all the money they have spent and the military equipment”.
The President mentioned the wise and insightful leadership as another component of Iran’s power and said, "The Supreme Leader guides the Islamic community with his timely warnings”.
Ayatollah Raisi also mentioned the possession of science, knowledge, technology and capable armed forces equipped with the latest achievements of advanced military sciences and industries as other important powerful components of Iran.
Raisi said, "Wherever we have followed the version of the Islamic Revolution during these years, we have succeeded, and wherever the managers have followed the versions of others with suspicion and doubt, it has been where we have failed”.
Referring to his visit to the science and technology parks of Isfahan province, Ayatollah Raisi mentioned the valuable measures taken in this field as honourable and commendable works.
"Wherever there has been backwardness, it has been the product of underemployment or delay in fulfilling responsibility," he said.
Raisi said, "Financial discipline in the government is essential and the government seeks to run the country with the lowest cost and highest gains”.
Ayatollah Raisi said that economic growth depends on increasing domestic and foreign investment and increasing productivity, and stressed, "The government is trying to pursue economic reforms with the cooperation of the people and we believe that if our religious people are transparently informed, they will help the government in this important mission”.
Expressing that he is aware of the problems of the people and their conditions and their problems, the President said, "The actions and reforms of the government will yield results with the patience and cooperation of the people”.
Referring to the difficulties of the serious mission of Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani to eradicate terrorism in the region, Raisi said, "Many thought that despite American money and the Zionist plan, we could not fight ISIS, but the school of Martyr Soleimani proved that we can”.
Addressing the young and calling them the future makers of the country, the President said, "I strongly believe that considering the vast capacities and talented efficient force and material and spiritual resources in the country, we have a very bright and hopeful future”.
