A former Iranian diplomat has said that the relations between Iran and the IAEA are not so good and Israel is trying to disrupt Iran's nuclear program.

“From the perspective of Iran’s relations with the IAEA, I think today we are witnessing one of the most difficult situations,” Korosh Ahmadi told ILNA.

Seemingly, the agreement that has been signed by Grossi and Eslami and included four clauses and a timetable for providing explanations about three old sites in Iran hasn’t yielded any results.

Underlining that the two sides' relations aren’t so good, he pointed out that it seems that issuing a resolution is on the agenda.

“This resolution will likely be limited to a request for Iran to cooperate with the IAEA,” he added.

Commenting on Grossi’s recent visit to Israel, the former diplomat said that this trip that happened on the verge of a quarterly meeting of the Board of Governors has a special meaning.

It means boosting Israel and IAEA cooperation relations and increasing Israel’s efforts to disrupt Iran's nuclear program, he said.

He said that Israel's activities are in line with destroying relationships between Iran and the IAEA, adding, “Certainly this trip will not be a positive development.”
