Iran rejects one-sided statements regarding seized Greek tankers
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh rejected one-sided and unjustifiable statements by France and Germany regarding seized Greek tankers, which seem to have become a constant habit among those who issue them.

Instead of escaping forward and misguidedly defending violations committed by Greek ships, we urge these countries to support internationally-based litigation aimed at ensuring freedom of navigation and maritime security, he added.
Unfortunately, these countries are protesting against the legal measures taken in Iran while remaining silent in the face of the illegal seizure of the Iranian-flagged ship by the Greek authorities and the unloading its shipment in accordance with another country's internal laws and regulations, he noted.
Such inappropriate interventions in Iran’s independent judicial processes will not help resolve the issues, Khatibzadeh said.
Therefore, as we have told the Greek authorities, instead of political and media movements, it is appropriate to resolve the issues through the legal and judicial channels, he stated.
