Iran Sympathizes with Cuba over Explosion at Havana Hotel

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry expressed sympathy with Cuba over a large explosion at a historic hotel in Havana that has killed and injured scores of people.
In a statement on Saturday, Saeed Khatibzadeh offered his sympathy to the Cuban people, government, and families of victims of the deadly incident.
He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
At least 22 people have been killed and more than 70 injured after a large explosion ripped through Hotel Saratoga in Havana.
Cuban president’s office says a preliminary investigation indicated that the explosion at the five-star Hotel Saratoga in Old Havana was caused by a gas leak.
