“U.S. has taken the decision of returning to the JCPOA and don’t want anyone to stop it,” a Lebanese expert said.

Tarek Abboud, a Lebanese expert, said in an exclusive interview with ILNA that the reason for holding the “Negev summit" is that the U.S. wants to prepare its regional allies for the possibility of reaching an agreement with Iran.

“U.S. has taken the decision of returning to the JCPOA and don’t want anyone to stop it,” he said.

He said that it isn’t in the interest of Egypt and Morocco to join an alliance whose basic mission is to counter Iran.

He stressed that the future of the region is dependent on international realities but there are signs that Washington does not want to complex the situation of the tensions in the Middle East.
