Ministers of foreign affairs of four countries congratulate Amirabdollahian
Ministers of foreign affairs of Mongolia, Ireland, Burkina Faso and Indonesia in separate messages forwarded to Hossein Amirabdollahian congratulations on his appointment as Iran’s new foreign minister.
The Mongolian Foreign Minister Batmunkh Battsetseg in her message to Amirabdollahian congratulated him for gaining the confidence vote of the Iranian Parliament members.
She in her message also expressed hope that the amicable and old relations between Mongolia and the Islamic Republic of Iran will expand, especially in the economic and business fields.
The Foreign Minister of Ireland Simon Coveney, too, in a message addressed to Hossein Amirabdollahian congratulated him for beginning his work as the Iranian foreign minister.
Coveney has in his message referred to the constructive cooperation between Iran and his country, and asked for having continuous talks with him and broader comprehensive cooperation with Iran.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burkina Faso Alpha Berry in his congratulation message to Amirabdollahian congratulated him both for getting the Parliament’s confidence vote and for beginning his service as Iran’s top diplomat.
Berry in his message announced his country’s readiness for expansion of friendly ties with Iran.
The Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, too, in her congratulation massage to Amirabdollahian considered Iran as “one of Indonesia’s main partners in the region”.
“Expansion of relations between our countries, following 70 years of diplomatic ties, that has served as a good background, is quite easy,” she said.
Ms. Marsudi in her message expressed hope that the old record of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries will lead to the establishment of an ever-more satisfactory level of ties to serve the interests of both nations and counties, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
