Amirabdollahian exchanges views with Afghanistan's Abdullah Abdullah on phone
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian had a phone talk with the head of Afghanistan High Council for Peace and Compromise Abdullah Abdullah Sunday evening.
Abdullah congratulated Amirabdollahian for the new position as Iran's foreign minister and appreciated Tehran’s stands in defense of the Afghan nation.
He also elaborated on the latest status of the ongoing human catastrophe in Afghanistan and asked for urgent dispatching of Iran’s humanitarian aids to his country.
In the phone talk, the two sides agreed on the necessity of campaign against terrorism and also the establishment of an all-encompassing government in Afghanistan, comprised of the representatives of the entire Afghan tribes and ethnic groups.
The two sides were also emphatically agreed that it is eventually the Afghan nation that must decide about the future of their own country.
