Iran meets more than 90% of its defense needs domestically: Minister
Iranian Minister of Defense Brigadier-General Amir Hatami said on Sunday that more than 90 percent of Iran’s defense needs are being met inside the country.
Hatami made the remarks on the occasion of Iran's National Defensive Industry while he elaborated on his four-year achievements as Iran's defense minister.
Referring to the country's missile capabilities, the minister said that all Iranian missiles have pinpointing capability today with a high power to evade the enemy’s defensive systems.
He also hailed Bavar-373 system as the masterpiece of Iranian defense industry when talking about the country’s defensive systems.
Hatami also referred to Iran’s achievements in designing and producing Yasin fighter jet, and different types of UAVs, saying, “we are now undoubtedly one of the world's top UAV powers.”
