One week after Islamic Republic’s new president Ebrahim Raisi assumed office, he submitted his ministerial nominees to parliament for approval.

Alireza Salami, a member of parliament’s presidium told that the list of Raisi’s ministers reach parliament Today.

Raisi has already appointed his first vice president and chief of staff, positions that do not need parliament approval.

The news website Khabar Online hinted on Wednesday that forming his economic team might be the subject of disagreements and prove to be challenging. A lawmaker who spoke with the website said “I will not enter into the issue of disagreements” on the economic team.

According to report, the former diplomat Amir Abdollahian nominated as foreign minister.
