Presidential hopeful stresses fighting corruption
A candidate of the 13th round of Iran's presidential election emphasized uprooting corruption in a TV program, adding that the roots of corruption should be dried up in the executive and administrative bodies.
Ebrahim Raisi said that he had participated in the elections to solve the problems, sufferings, disappointments, and shortcomings.
He said: "If I couldn't do anything, I would not have entered the campaign; the fight against corruption and discrimination is one of the important tasks of the administration, and it is possible to eradicate poverty and unemployment in the country."
He called for a change in the status quo with the help of people and political groups.
He stated that his government would serve production and people.
