Iranian President Leaves Tehran for New York City

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani left Tehran for New York City on Sunday September 23 to attend the 73rd United Nations General Assembly.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said, "Attending at the UN headquarters provides the opportunity to meet and negotiate with the leaders of many countries, which normally requires a lot of traveling to meet and negotiate with them, or they have to come to Tehran, but New York is a great opportunity for bilateral meetings”.
